In Folkoperan's interpretation of Puccini's classic opera Tosca, light stands against darkness. Plot and characters are set in modern times with stripped-down, minimalist costumes and scenography. The stage consists of two rooms, one light and one dark. In the campaign material we produced, we wanted to stay true to director Jasenko Selimovic's artistic vision. The concept therefore built further on the contrast between light and dark and the symbolic contrast between the characters. The man protected by his firm and public police uniform juxtaposed against the unprotected woman intimately dressed in lingery. Posters, flyers and programs. The program had two front covers and could be read from two sides. Starting with the light or the dark. In the middle, the two worlds meet through an open door in the light and dark room, respectively.
